1. Righty-tighty Turns to the right (ie starboard turns) will be tighter than turns the other
way. This is because, in forward gear, the propeller ‘walks’ across the bottom of the river and
will tend to push the stern of the boat off to the left (port) side. In windy conditions this can
make the difference between being able to turn round in the river - or not!
2. Barbecue information. A 10" x 12" disposable BBQ will cook 6 sausages, 3 chops, 3
giant burgers, 3 pre-cooked potatoes and still have oomph left to do any amount of waffles!
The folding windbreak stowed under Nimue's aft starboard floor has been removed.
3. Before starting the engine, make sure that the weed trap is full of water.
4. To unmoor when the wind is blowing you back to shore. Manhandle Nimue so that
the stern is pointing into wind, push off and reverse right across the river before turning back.
Caution: Do not attempt to go out forwards - always reverse out!
